Description

The Expanda Panel is a fantastic way to add extra space to all the Snugpak UK made sleeping bags. It gives an extra 40cm of space at the chest and around 7cm at the foot.

The extra space allows you to keep the bag zipped up whilst giving you extra room to relax, where normally you might have to unzip your bag.

The Expanda panel also allows you to control the internal temperature of the bag. If the conditions are warmer than expected, using the Expanda panel will allow more air to circulate and lower the temperature.

The panels are made from the same materials as the sleeping bags they are designed for so they provide the same insulation properties and temperature ratings.

Snugpak expands panel

Great addition to the sleeping bag as it allows loads of room to move now and easily do up the zip. Put some graphite from a pencil across the zip and works great,

The panel really makes a difference to the comfort of my Snugpak sleeping bag, the extra space around the chest / shoulders means I can actually move around inside the bag. I can now reach the internal zip and drawstrings without a struggle.
There is no significant difference (so far) to the temperature inside the bag with the Expanda panel fitted.
My only gripe, if it can even be called that, is the zip tops don't align. The panel could have done with being a inch or two longer so it reaches the top of the bag zip.

I actually bought this to sew it in to a non snugpak bag, the actual quality of the panel is great and well made. Good shipping times from military kit even out to Sweden, cheers guys
