Description

The classic Royal Navy Submariner jumper is made with 100% British wool to a 70 year-old specification.

With a roll neck and deep welt (hem), the jumper is very comfortable and warm and the internal reinforcement patch in the shoulder and neck seam adds durability.

The submariner sweater is made with 3-fold wool that has been treated to prevent shrinkage when washing.

Well worth it!

Very heavyweight, very long, close-fitting but stretchy, these are for anyone who has ever admired the beautiful Royal Navy issued jumpers seen in many war films! My reeked of lanolin on first opening, not quite so bad now, but no doubt after its first gentle woollens wash finishing with fabric conditioner it will be a garment of exquisite admiration! It should last a lifetime and is immensely practical and warm. Well worth the modest investment!

P.S. It does not look particularly like the one in the picture (as of 20th September 2024) but like the authentic Royal Navy pullovers in off-white.

Absolutely 1st Class !!

I occasionally got to wear one of these excellent submariner jumpers when loaned whilst on minesweper in the 60's. Since that time I have been trying to buy one. I happily came across your ad and have now bought 2 from you (1 ecru & 1 blue). I must say I find them perfect in every way. They are high quality British wool (oiled?), they are a long fit which covers my nether regions and the neck is a proper tight fit to keep in body heat. Arm length is pefect. They are excellent value being about half the cost of identical looking so-called upmarket garments. Only wish I had discovered your emporium years ago! Well done I'll be back.
