Carinthia Defence 4 Sleeping Bag Olive

Not had chance to use it yet as it’s still too warm ( summer)
But well made and roomy
Will be using this with the grizzly sleeping bag liner and the defence one when it’s super cold alongside the Carinthia bivvi bag

I recently invested in buying a Carinthia Defence 4 sleeping bag and from first impressions you can tell this is a quality product.
I have not yet had chance to use it in the field but have looked at it at home, the materials used are of high quality and the bag is very well thought out. It has a robust centre zip which is easy to use due to its chunky size and having 2 zips in the centre means you can ventilate your feet if they get too warm.
I moved from a thermarest vespa ul down quilt as I didn't trust it if the down was to get wet and reading up on the carinthia i thought I would go back to synthetic as this still retains heat when wet, ypu do have to take into account this is a heavy bag but i may notice that as i have been using down for many years ,the large pack size and weight is something to take into consideration but its still back packing friendly, I also love the woodland camo design .I'm 6ft2" and with a modest amount of weight decided to go for the large bag and found it fits me beautifully with plenty of room in footbox and enough room when zipped up for a bit of movement, the face hole on the bag is small but that is to retain heat in cold weather which will be appreciated.
As for Military Kit they dispatched my order extremely quickly and I recieve the bag within 2 days of ordering. such an excellent company and they answered my questions when I was researching the bag....cheers guys for your help and hard work 👍👍👍

I am very happy with the Good Reliable Quick Service. The Sleeping bag arrived in new condition and is good quality and gives me extra warmth for less weight than my existing Bag. Nice and roomy for feet. Good Camo in my fave birch and pine wood and dead bracken camping.

Looking good for zero temperatures and snow next week with the defence 4 and savotta mat. Great gear great times.

As soon as I got it I slept in -3 temps with just a bivvy bag. I was completely toasty and warm. Just can’t believe how warm it was .

Haven’t tried sleeping bag yet but it looks great and I’m very impressed with the small pack size . Great company to buy from.

I have no problem recommending this high quality sleeping bag. I wasn't sure about the small face opening, but it's fine.
