Snugpak SJ3 Softie Jacket Olive

Been out in cold winds with light rain and the jacket performs brilliantly keeping me warm and dry. The high collar makes all the difference in these conditions. Size came out a little on the large size but not enough to be an issue. Overall pleased with the purchase

This is quite a warm jacket if you wear the right gear under it, I live close to the NE coast where we get cold biting winds coming across the North sea, last week (late Nov) we had a bitter cold raging storm, and I was down on the sea front, I was wearing a thermal long sleeved base layer, a PCS fleece top as a mid layer and the SJ3 on top, and I can honestly say that I never felt the cold.
The sizing on this item is fairly generous, I measure 42" around the chest and find I could have quite easily added another layer or two, and of course you get the usual excellent service from Military Kit, in fact these guys would take some beating when it comes to good quality goods and service. But overall a very good jacket and it is warm and breathable, usually with some of the lower end stuff, if it's waterproof it's not breathable, and if it's breathable it's not waterproof, but this jacket fits the bill

Just what I wanted and expected from Snugpak, the SJ3 fits great light weight and totally wind proof, exactly what I wanted for walking the dogs only need a T-shirt underneath on our brisk walk just right when there's a chill in the air. Best of all it's British made, love it.

Fast efficient and as usual Snugpak lives up to it’s reputation.
