Description

The Snugpak Navigator sleeping bag is an excellent value 3-season square bag ideal for campers, hikers and festival goers that can be unzipped to double as a quilt.

With a comfort temperature of -2 degrees Celsius and low extreme rating of -7 degrees, it is ideal for spring, summer and autumn use especially when night-time temperatures can dip below freezing.

Weighing in at 1.75kg and compressing down to just 28cm x 20cm, it is lightweight and easy to transport.

The square shape of the bag allows plenty of room at night and the zip that runs around the base of the sleeping bag allows you to open it out completely into a quilt or blanket - ideal for covering up in the evening.

The hood with drawcord can be pulled into shape, wrapping around the head for extra warmth if required.

The Navigator uses the same technical fabrics as other bags in the Basecamp Ops range, including a Supersoft lining that is breathable and wicks away moisture keeping you comfortable at night.

The insulation is Isofibre which efficiently traps heat and the outer shell is Aqualight - a water-repellent durable polyester fabric.

Brilliant sleeping bag

Just spent the first night out. My friend used my bivvy, so it was just me on the tarp, mat and sleeping bag nothing more. Was a very comfortable sleep at 480m elevation @ 14C, the sleeping bag stayed dry and really toasty inside. Draw string ensured a snug fit around the face. I'm only short 5'6 so was roomy too, can't stand mummy shaped bags so the extra foot room was much better. Definitely recommend.

Brilliant value

I couldn't be more happy. It's not the most lightweight but I prefer the comfort and space than saving a few extra grams.
As for warmth it's surprisingly cozy and definitely lives up to the 3 season label.
For the price you pay you get an extremely good sleeping bag and compression sack.
