The Kombat Polar Expo/Aviator trapper hat features a faux-leather outer and a soft faux fur lining for warmth and comfort on the coldest of days.

The chinstrap keeps the hat securely fastened in cold and windy conditions, helping to retain heat.

Both ear flaps can be buttoned up if you do not require sides of your face to be protected or fastened down to give extra warmth over the ears.

Warm and weather resistant hat.

I like this very much, I've used it for a few dog walks around the fields at 0°c with the earflaps down and tucked into a neck gator and found it to be more than adequate warmth wise. The external shell material is windproof and I'm guessing pretty water repellent, though I haven't gotten it wet yet. The only negative for me is that when the ear flaps are folded up both they and the chin strap tend to stand up a bit proud, still for the price I paid and the actual purpose of keeping warm it's very good.
