Fabulous service.Was bought for a police officer to wear on football duty.He said it is wonderful.,warm and keeps the wind out even though it is not a massive padded coat.Needed to fit under his stab vest.Thank you

Hard not to compare this to my Buffalo, similar design with the bumflap, side zips and pit vents. Good warmth and wind resistance and it holds its own in a light shower. Packs down small and importantly I don't have to be as precious as I am with my Buffalo that was 3-4 times the price. Plus points, it fits under my issue fleece and stabvest.

I was cautious on ordering a highlander product due to previous purchases. This however has converted me. Absolute game changer. As an owner of a Buffalo systems special 6 this highlander smock is literally comparable. Fits nice, light weight and a good fleece liner means no need for an under layer in good weather. Ventilates amazingly, used this on my hikes in the lakes and the versatility is unmatched. This isn't a waterproof layer and isn't designed to be one but the water does bead off in a small shower or in dense fog/mist, if you are looking at it then don't bother hesitating just buy it. You won't regret it.

Size bought XXL black I'm 5.9 muscular upper with a 45" chest. Fit in perfect.

An excellent mid/top layer. Fit is excellent with ability to wear next to skin or with a base layer for extra warmth. Pocket layout is perfect for hands and chest pocket is in the right place for easy access but not to high to be in the road of bino carry. Hood is perfect with good adjusting ability. Certainly an item to have on your kit list.

Excellent piece of kit have been wearing for a couple of weeks and it's lovely and warm, working night shifts and only have one layer underneath it. Not tried it in the rain yet though. Would recommend though.

This was a christmas present for my husband, as he works outside in all weathers, so not really able to review the quality as yet. However, the order process was easy. I did have to return my first order and order the next size up to what my husband 's usual size is, but only because he had room to wear a jumper underneath during the colder seasons. I received my refund in a timely manor, so no complaints from me. I would definitely recommend this company and I would also order from them again in the future.

Having owned and worn a Buffalo Special 6 for some time, I’ve been looking for a similar smock-style jacket with a lighter fleece lining. I bought an ex-military one which was ok, but the olive colour marked and stained very easily, so I looked for a similar style in black. A search turned up the Highlander Halo, which looked like what I wanted.
It’s exactly what I wanted, it’s a superb jacket, just the right weight and the fleece is perfect for most conditions, and it’s very comfortable. I went a size up, from XL to XXL, for a bit more room to wear an extra thin fleece as a mid-layer, and it couldn’t be better. And it’s extremely good value as well. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it.
