Highlander Cerberus 30L Daysack Black

Purchased to start rucking. Item is very well made, has plenty of room for stuff including camelbak so ideal day sack, comes with internal dry sack and has an attached rain cover accessed in small zipped pocked on the bottom.
Pack is capable of attaching molle pouches. and other attachments

First impressions the bag is durable and well made, heavy duty materials used throughout and quality buckles. Raincover comes in matching black and fits pretty tightly. Havent had any rain to test it yet but its still comfortable to wear even in the heat. Excellent service and fast delivery as always.

I love this bag! For a 30 litre backpack it is so spacious and with the added MOLLE and Daisy chains you can’t go wrong. I originally had the 50 litre highlander backpack but for my build it was not a good fit and wanted something a little more lightweight and compact for SHTF/BOB situation and camping. All the small pockets and the variety of compartments work well for the gear I have put in it and has a cool additional dry sack and waterproof cover with it, which doesn’t fit as well if you have MOLLE pouches attached to your bag which is a down side. I also like the fact you can add your own velcro patch to it for customisation. Overall very pleased with it.

Nice looking bit of kit,lots of stuff pockets and waterproof liner and cover, not tested in the field yet so only time will tell how robust it is.

I shopped around a LOT for a decent daysack that wasn't a pile of crap but also didn't break the bank. I didn't want to splash out on the Camelbak Motherlode but also didn't want the cheapest Kombat Tactical. The Highlander Cerberus was the ideal in-between. I had looked at some other Highlander daysacks but was not particularly impressed. This one ticks all the boxes though. Highlander's HMTC fits well enough with issue MTP that you don't need to worry about catching any unnecessary attention. It's water-resistant but also has a dry bag that clips into the main compartment for waterproofing kit properly. It has a rain cover underneath, that you'll likely never use (unless you want to look like a ninja turtle). It's also compatible with a hydration bladder (it seems like 2L is optimal for this daysack). Finally, the MOLLE compatibility means you can expand the capacity further and the two daisy-chains along the rear sides allow you to quickly attach non-MOLLE kit without any issues. Overall, it's a solid piece of kit.
