The 550ml Outdoor Bottle from Helikon is a shatter, heat and chemical-resistant water bottle made from BPA-free Tritan that is ideal for outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.

The durable water bottle does not interfere with the taste of added liquid and can withstand temperatures from -10C up to 90°C. A scale on one side conveniently shows measurements in millilitres and ounces.

A wide neck opening lets you fill the bottle quickly and add concentrates or purifying tablets, while the removable insert lets you stir with a spoon. The screw cap has an integrated seal and is attached using a plastic loop.

2 x Helikon Outdoor Water Bottle 550ml Smoked

I already have a 1-litre version of these two smaller bottles I bought recently so I know they are well made. The 550ml bottles are great for shorter walks. I usually have plain water in each and in hot weather I can just tip an electrolyte powder into one of them which I pre-measure to the right volume using the ml/fluid ounces scale on the side of the bottles, then screw the lid back on, shake to mix and replace any lost body salts quickly. The neck is quite wide for a bottle of this size so it’s easy to add powders, sugar, milk etc. and the screw-on tops are actually water-tight with a clear rubber seal seated under the lid - not unlike the issue Osprey water bottle. There’s also a removable insert which sits in the neck and helps prevent spillage while still allowing drinking. This size is also ideal to take into work and they come with a handy drawstring mesh carry case. Definitely one of the better quality bottles on the market. Swift service from Military Kit
