French Army Gortex CCE Camo Jacket NO POCKETS - Used

These Grade 1 French Army "Gore-Tex" MVP rain jackets are genuine French military surplus in CCE (Central European Camo) camouflage.

This jacket is the newer style. There are no pockets on the outside of the jacket. This was done to stop soldiers from standing with their hands in their pockets while on parade.

Completely waterproof and windproof due to a three-layer breathable MVP fabric they will keep you dry but allow moisture to escape from layers underneath.

Designed to be worn as a hard-shell outer layer they are oversized to allow for multiple layers of clothing.

The jacket has a high collar with a stowaway hood that has a peak and drawcord. The drawcord allows you to adjust the hood to get complete protection from wind and rain. The hood is also large enough to wear over a helmet.

The main zip is protected with a double storm flap that is secured with press-studs.

Two vertical zipped chest pockets are accessible from either side of the main zip, ideal for maps and keeping items close at hand.

Underarm zips let you increase ventilation when needed and a drawcord at the hem allows you to tighten the jacket to keep the wind and rain out.

This jacket is great value and has features that would cost many times more on the high street. Would make an ideal breathable and waterproof and windproof rain jacket.

Important size information

Please be aware that these jackets are designed to be worn as a hard-shell outer layer over multiple layers of clothing and are sized accordingly.

Therefore, a jacket that is size 112 is made for someone with a chest of 44-46" although the actual jacket will be much larger around the chest to accommodate the extra layers underneath.

If you would like the jacket to be worn as a more fitted casual jacket over a shirt or t-shirt then a 112 would be suitable for a chest size of approximately 48-50".
