Description

The Altberg Warrior Aqua is a 100% waterproof combat boot. A big favourite of the military when deployed into wet and heavy terrain. It is also a very good seller to our emergency services.

The SympaTex lining in this boot makes it waterproof whilst remaining breathable. The padded tongue and collars on the Warrior Aqua provide added comfort and they are leather around the top to reinforce them.

They are constructed with full-grain waterproof Anfibio leather with a full rubber rand. They have Vibram soles with a micro cushion mid layer and you will find your support and flex is correct with the midsole as they mould them specifically for each size.

The boots are 7 high lace up and have a sealed tongue.

The Warrior Aqua boot is ideal for Army, Cadets, Police, Security and other emergency services use when you need a high-quality waterproof boot, breathable and lightweight.

Made in Britain by Altberg who are a manufacturer of premium footwear that have been making boots in Yorkshire for the Armed Forces, Police and Security services since 1989.

All orders placed before 2pm on Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, subject to availability.

Orders placed after 2pm on a weekday will be sent out the next working day.

When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email letting you know and this will also include any tracking numbers, if applicable.

Standard Delivery

For all UK orders we offer FREE standard delivery usually via Royal Mail. This service normally delivers in 2-5 days.

Next Working Day Delivery

Next working day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm from Monday to Friday. Friday orders will arrive on the following Monday - not Saturday.

Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the next working day. On a Friday this means the order will be dispatched on the following Monday for a Tuesday delivery.

Note: No orders are dispatched on Weekends or Bank Holidays.

Returns

Our Xmas Returns policy is now in effect. Any order placed before 1st Dec 2023 can be returned up until 31st January 2024. For orders placed from 1st December onwards, our normal 60-day returns policy applies.

Expensive but quality

After my Lowa combat gtx failed after almost 5 years I was reluctant to try any other brands. I wanted to go from a high leg boot to a lower one and a policeman friend of mine recommended the Altberg boot.
They arrived within a couple of days of ordering and just looking at them I could tell they were a good quality boot. I took the advice of ordering a half size bigger to allow for thick socks rather than waiting for a wide fitting boot. Initially I thought I'd made a mistake with the width as they felt quite tight when I put them on, however, after about 45 minutes with my feet warming up inside them, they softened enough to be comfortable and to confirm I had made the right choice by having the standard medium boot. 8 hours later after pounding the streets my feet felt great, no rubbing anywhere and the narrow heel area kept my feet firmly in place. Like the Lowas, these can also be resoled so if you keep the leather in good nick these should last years.
Positives : superb quality, waterproof, good fitting boot.
Negatives : If you tend to wear thick socks all the time then consider the wide fitting boot rather than the medium. I don't like thick socks as a rule but I think my feet may rub in the medium boot.
Yes these boots are costly but when you're on your feet all day as I am you need comfort. With regular care and protection these boots could be the best things you'll ever buy.
