With an iconic military background and tough construction to match, the Alpha Industries M-65 Field Jacket is an enduring, virtually indestructible classic, designed for military manoeuvres.

Originally issued to soldiers during Vietnam, this coat features an oversized fit allowing you to wear multiple layers or attach a liner via internal buttons and a bi-swing back allows unrestricted movement.

Additional attributes include a drawcord adjustable waist and hem to help keep draughts out, four large outer chest pockets, internal welt and zipped pockets and a wind, tear and water resistant 50% cotton, 50% polyester outer shell.

A concealed hood in the collar and the practical brass zip and press stud closure complete the vintage style of this combat jacket.

Sizing:

The M65 jacket is oversized and is intended to be worn with multiple layers or a liner that can be purchased separately. If you want to wear with multiple layers choose your regular jacket size, otherwise, if you want to wear with a single layer such as a shirt or t-shirt we recommend you choose one size smaller. If you want an even slimmer fit then you may need to go down two sizes.

The right price and a very good service

The price for the jacket is one of the best in the UK. The product is original and new. The fit is very generous so I made a mistake and I had to return and buy a new one. Everything sorted out with one email. Refund obtained without problems, but remember to keep all the original bags and keep the tags on the jacket when you try it the first time.

The definitive M51 Jacket

Great quality coat/jacket which is roomy and warm without a liner. I am usually XL, however for this item Large was perfect without under layers, but still allows enough room for a thin fleece. If I gave the design one negative it would be the cuffs, more velcro or strap to reduce diameter. This is am minor point and should not distract from this quality made to last jacket.

Good Quality jack.

Its a good quality jacket, It similar to others I've had but a better overall quality. The price is maybe a little high considering the additional cost of the inner jacket, The size guide is very accurate. If you want it baggy/ to wear something underneath get your normal size but if not get the size lower, which i what i wish I'd done.
