Offering support, waterproof protection and impact absorption, these black AKU Pilgrim HL GTX Combat Boots will keep your feet comfortable and dry during various weather conditions and terrains.

The boot upper features the advanced AKU AIR 8000® system which remains one of the most advanced technologies, ensuring abrasion resistance and excellent breathability up to 11.5 times higher than normal standards.

The Vibram® Fourà anti-static nitrile sole is more resistant to chemicals, oil and acids, offering high durability and enabling a solid grip on a diverse range of terrains. These soles are waterproof and anatomical, flexing with your foot offering cushioning and comfort.

A die-cut EVA internal midsole system provides support, cushioning and comfort. This midsole is not only flexible and soft but it moulds to the natural imprint of your foot ensuring an even distribution of pressure that ensures stability and less stress on the foot.

An additional feature of these boots is the Gore-Tex® lining with approximately 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimetre that are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water. This prevents water droplets from penetrating the boot but still allows moisture vapour to escape.

Next Working Day Delivery

Next working day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm from Monday to Friday. Friday orders will arrive on the following Monday - not Saturday.

Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the next working day. On a Friday this means the order will be dispatched on the following Monday for a Tuesday delivery.

AKU Pilgrim High Leg Gortex Combat boot

After a full career in the British Army (RE) where I mostly wore Altberg boots believing them to be the best boot available, What Can I say? I was wrong! These AKU boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I patrol up to 10 miles a day in them over mixed terrain and they are ideal. Waterproof comfy and breathable so they do not make my feet sweat/stink. The ankle support is spot on. They have a good grip. These boots are hundreds of times better than cheap alternatives like magnums etc.. and at least twice as comfy as my Altbergs. 10/10

Boot performance, trainer comfort 👌

Lightweight and comfortable, yet great grip and support. I ended up stood in a river for almost an hour last night and still had dry socks at the end of my shift.
They’re very cool in summer due to the breathability, but this can make them a bit chilly when the temperature drops- nothing another pair of socks can’t sort.
The soles will wear quickly if you work a lot on hard surface, but well worth it for the grip.
Wish these were issued to us, but they are so good I buy them myself.

High leg!!

Why don't they issue these to us!! Great boot, very comfortable. Great ankle support too. Quite warm, so bear this in mind when purchasing. Probably due to the Gortex!!

Perfect for field craft training

These boots are incredibly light weight and form fitting, definitely worth using if prone to blisters as I have had no issues unlike previous use with altbergs and hiax combat boots. 10/10 worth trying

Outstanding

Aku GTX HL Boots. Probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. To put it in context - I am ex Army Air Corps and have served all over the world in various roles including aircrew, and have worn all manner of boots, both issued and privately purchased. The Aku tops the lot.
Military Kit fulfilled the order rapidly and without fuss. Highly recommended. Will buy from them again without hesitation.

Excellent boot all round. Lightweight compared to my existing Lowa’s. Very comfortable straightaway. Boots have come a long way since I was in the army in the 80s and 90’s. Very pleased with the Pilgims and no complaints!
