Buffalo Systems Special 6 Shirt Olive Green

The Buffalo Special 6 shirt was specifically designed to be used by professionals who require a top grade garment that will handle the most extreme conditions. It is designed to be (and works most efficiently) when worn directly next to the skin.

The shirt is a favourite with the Special forces and is regularly used by Mountain Rescue teams, Police and the Military. The overall feel of the shirt is one of comfort, warmth and very soft to the touch when worn against the skin.

The Pertex pile system is a densely woven fabric and when combined with the Aqua Pile lining has a high capillary action that is both highly breathable and very efficient at wicking away moisture from the body.

A large zipped front pocket is ideally sized for maps and gloves and carry storm baffles as do all the zips to the neck and side.

The Special 6 shirt is 5cm longer than the mountain shirt to allow for rain runoff and has touch and close hip adjusters.

The hand pockets meet in the middle and are fully lined to help keep your hands warm. Inside the pocket is an adjustable strap that can be tightened to ensure the shirt fits correctly to your body shape to cut out any draughts.

There are eight ventilation controls on each shirt including 2 side zips, enabling you to open the side of the shirt fully or just under each armpit.

The Buffalo Special 6 shirt is ideal for many outdoor activities including many winter sports as it is windproof to 50 mph.

Care Instructions:

Buffalo Systems shirts, trousers and jackets require intentional care. It is important to follow the washing instructions on your garment. Do NOT tumble dry, dry clean, use fabric softener or use a wash-in waterproofing agent.

Ideally, wash in Nikwax Tech Wash (max washing temperature 30°c). This is recommended to maintain the high-performance level of your garment. Nikwax TX Direct SPRAY ON can be applied only after washing.
